Every Annämh piece is vintage with it’s own history and story to tell through signs that come with age and use, giving every item a unique charm and character. Taking care of these well-loved pieces will help them to continue to age beautifully so that you can cherish them in your home for years to come.

Wooden & Natural Fibre Furniture
General Care
We recommend using mats or coasters for food and drink, all spillages should be wiped up immediately.
Never place hot dishes directly onto surfaces without using a heat resistant mat.
Try not to place your furniture anywhere where there is excessive change in heat or moisture content for example right next to a radiator.
Cleaning
Gently wipe with a damp cloth and dry off with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh cleaning products or polishes which can build up a residue of product. For stubborn marks use a diluted solution of mild detergent on a cloth.
Conditioning
We recommend using boiled linseed oil as a conditioner for rattan and cane. The oil will add moisture to the fibers to help prevent breakage. Allow the piece to dry completely for at least 48 hours before replacing any cushions.

Glassware & Ceramics
Cleaning
Avoid using dishwashers as high temperatures, high pressure water and harsh detergents can damage the surface.
Use a mild detergent to wash by hand in a plastic washing up bowl to avoid any damage caused by hitting taps or the side of the sink.
