1950s French Rush & Turned Oak Carver Chair
A very unusual rush and carved oak rustic French farmhouse wide carver chair. Would look great as a stand-alone feature chair or as part of the set also available.
The chair comprises a woven rush backrest and seat with a chunky carved frame and bobbin detail stretcher and armrests. It also has four carved circles at each apex of the backrest.
There are areas on the woodwork where the varnish has worn. This chair has been treated twice with Rustins Woodworm Killer as there were some woodworm holes.
