Very distinctive bamboo and rattan headboard thought to be made by McGuire. Made from curved bamboo poles, which create shaped arches in a gothic revival style.
Bound together with cane on the exposed joints in beautiful woven knots. As this is such a large headboard it has been reinforced with metal plates for supports on the back.
